2024 Scholarships

Binghamton Dollars for Scholars is pleased to offer both one-time and renewable scholarships for the 2023-2024 school year. Graduating seniors may apply for our scholarships by completing an application through Scholarship America and matching to Binghamton Dollars for Scholars. The 2024 application window opened on December 1, 2023. The application deadline for the scholarships below is April 6, 2024.

Binghamton Dollars for Scholars Standard Scholarship - We will award up to 23 scholarships in the amount of $1000 to graduating seniors.

Carol Oestrich Renewable Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior and is renewable over four years, with a first year award of $1000.

Binghamton Dollars for Scholars Renewable Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior and is renewable over four years, with a first year award of $1000.

Selection for scholarships is based on a variety of factors including academics, extra-curricular activities, community service, employment and life challenges. Students must have applied to a 2 or 4 year college or vocational school and be graduating from Binghamton High School in 2024. Applicants graduating in future school years are welcome to begin the application process, but will be unable to match to a scholarship until their senior year.

Applicants must register and apply at https://public.dollarsforscholars.org/ or by clicking the login button below. The Student Checklist includes the sections required to apply for Binghamton Dollars for Scholars Scholarships. It is recommended that applicants print this off and reference while completing the online application.

While Binghamton Dollars for Scholars does not require all sections of the Scholarship America application to be completed, students are encouraged to complete the form in its entirety in order to match to other local, regional or national scholarships.
